The tent opens automatically in less than 5 seconds using two Alkos actuators, mounted on ball joints, operating articulated arms protected by a canvas cover.

Closing is done in 15 seconds by a single person. An elastic band incorporated around the canvas ensures that it is removed from the rigid shells during closing.

Shells

Made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, the lower shell is provided with locations for holding the aluminum ladder

This ladder, ergonomic and sliding to adapt to the size of the vehicle, is delivered with its storage cover (see photo below). Two air intakes, equipped with dust filters, improve interior ventilation of the tent

The upper shell, also made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, is equipped with a spoiler improving air penetration.

The hulls are closed by two custom-fitted anchor points, with a secure locking system.

All the screws are made of stainless steel, fixing to the vehicle is done by means of two aluminum rails, incorporated in the lower shell and 6 fixing brackets with M8 threaded screws and self-locking nuts.

Cloth

Light gray canvas composed of 6 coated layers, aluminized, reflecting the sun's rays.
Anti UV, 100% waterproof but breathable.
All seams are lined and 100% liquid-tight.
The canvas is mounted on cables inserted in aluminum slides, curved towards the outside of the hulls (in order to avoid infiltration), to facilitate its dismantling or to use the tent as a roof box.

Inside, the mattress is made of high density foam with a zippered cover, useful dimensions 140 x 198 cm

A window with mosquito net is integrated into the rear door, with an overhang to protect against rain.

Lighting

Interior lighting is provided by an LED torch

The battery of this torch is rechargeable using the 220 Volt and 12 Volt sockets provided

This torch has an unbreakable polycarbonate lens and a charge indicator.

Ventilation

Automatic and silent VMC, powered by a battery with a 24-hour autonomy and recharged by an integrated solar panel

With a capacity of 11.6 m3/min, this VMC prevents any condensation and can evacuate accumulated heat, avoiding humidity and mold.
